Lights for LADS
18 April 2026
Oswestry Community Centre
7:45 pm
Shine your light!
LADS is raising funds to buy new portable lighting for our indoor and outdoor performances – and you can be part of it!
We are holding a variety evening on Saturday 18th April at Oswestry Community Centre, at 7.45pm.
It will be a lovely, relaxed evening with a bar and raffle. What we need now is some entertainment…
We are inviting expressions of interest to put together a varied and entertaining programme. You might be a singer or a dancer; you could recite poetry, play an instrument, act in a short sketch, or do magic tricks.
The stage at OCC is fairly small, so please bear that in mind when putting forward your act. We’re asking people to stick to 10 minutes maximum, to give as many people as possible the chance to take part.
Get in touch to share your idea for an act and we will consider featuring you for the big event. Please don’t be offended if your suggestion isn’t chosen – that just means that we have been inundated with volunteers to perform.
Email alisonutting@gmail.com to put yourself forward.
Deadline for expressions of interest is Friday 13th March.
